Individual & Couples Counselor
I’m Bridgid, MA, LPCC
My goal as a counselor is to help individuals of all identities discover a deeper understanding of themselves. My approach is collaborative, inclusive, and designed to help clients embrace their own unique power, while also creating space to process difficult emotions and experiences, such as trauma and grief. Too often, we're taught to push away the most challenging parts of ourselves. I offer an alternative, an invitation to explore and transform our inner world to foster self-compassion and acceptance.
As a transpersonal counselor with a strong background in Buddhist psychology, I draw from a range of theories, including attachment theory, interpersonal neurobiology, and humanistic and existential psychology, to create a holistic approach that is tailored to each client's unique needs.
My Expertise & Training
I specialize in working with adult individuals and couples, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, communication challenges, and parenting concerns.
I am trained in Synergetic Play Therapy and am also trained in PACT Level 1 for my work with couples. By working together, we can build a strong foundation for growth, healing, and personal development.
On a personal note…
When I’m not working, I enjoy getting out in the mountains with my partner and our dog. I love abstract painting, skiing, riding bikes and sharing good food with friends.
